34. Cummins Street Residences - c1890

The mixture of architectural styles in Broken Hill from worker’s ‘tinnies’ to substantial Victorian homes, like these on Cummins Street, creates its unique character.  

Cummins Street’s Victorian residences are mostly constructed of stone, though several are in the older style of corrugated iron and timber. The fine cast iron decoration is typical of the era.
